I have made a few plans for my macro photos involving projection and re-photography pending until the MRC is open, as I am currently equipment-less, and my camera obscura attempts are not ideal. I may try more traditional film photography soon, though a digital camera may be a sensible investment [as would a computer capable of intense photo/video/audio editing].
A recent sound piece was produced using minimal equipment; a microphone, radio, and telephone/transmitter; that went relatively successfully, along with scanned phone images somewhere between identity and technological society as a theme, and some rust painting.
Furthermore, my Ambassador Degree Show Tour training went smoothly.
Also, ‘Theories of Mass Communication’ is a brilliant book.
The desire to reject technology, to escape the constant demands of Mass Communication, but the feeling of need; to stay connected to the Network Society, to avoid the terror of potential isolation in a modern society.
