Weekly Summary – 3.3.14 – 9.3.14
by Beauchamp Art
The week began with finalising the Drive films and working on film compositions using multiple videos within one frame, experimenting with visual juxtaposition and bizarre affects. I started editing the projection footage from the Mark Waller workshop, but as I have so much experimental material, a show reel may be necessary, though some actions could function as new works.
I went to London midweek and visited: Matt’s Galler, The Whitechapel, Raven’s Row, The Royal College of Surgeons, The Royal Academy, The White Cube, Gallery 8, and The Hayward – in one day, so there is a lot to digest.
I have also been organising an exhibition at the Fabric Warehouse with Elizabeth Aubury. We will be selecting submissions from a small group of individuals from all 3 years, to form a cohesive and weeklong show.
Organising the term ahead is chaos.
